Reinstalling an operating system is a tedious chore. Once you have Windows up and running on your computer, you must scour the web for the latest drivers. If you don't have any patience for driver hunting or you don't know what type of drives you need for certain devices, IQmango DriverBlade can help you find them. The application is capable of retrieving the latest drivers for all hardware components in a single run. It can also back up and restore your existing drivers, which makes it an essential tool when reinstalling Windows.

IQmango DriverBlade is absolutely free and it doesn't come with any restricted functions or nagging reminders to upgrade to a Pro version. It works on Windows XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8, as well as the 2003 Server edition. The software can be installed quickly and you don't have to meet any special requirements.

The user interface was designed with the Windows 8 appearance in mind. It presents various functions, which are organized in different categories. Installed devices and hardware components are displayed in a large tree structure. You can select individual items and click the available options, located on the right side of the interface, to back up their drivers, restore them or check for new ones on the Internet.

Driver backups are stored in folders of your choice, along with a main backup file, which you must load on IQmango DriverBlade's interface, when restoring your drivers. The software can also monitor the health of your hardware components. It displays voltage statistics, processor temperatures, fan speeds and other information, in a different section of the interface. You can also bring up extended information about your CPU and hardware temperatures, hard drive SMART information and details about your network.

Laptop users can also use IQmango DriverBlade to extend the machine's power. You can choose performance, power saving or balanced power plans. The software can employ different power plans, when the laptop is running on its batteries, when it is plugged in or when the battery is charged below a certain level.

Pros

You can back up and restore all drivers on your computer. The software can also retrieve new drivers from the Internet. It provides various PC health statistics and it can prolong a laptop's power.

Cons

There are no disadvantages to mention. With IQmango DriverBlade, it takes a single click to back up or update all drivers on your computer.
